Between the Sheets

Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml Cognac
  • 22.5 ml White rum
  • 22.5 ml Triple sec
  • 15 ml Lemon juice
  • Garnish Lemon twist

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  3. Garnish with lemon twist. Use a peeler or knife to cut a wide strip, avoiding the white pith. Twist it over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.

Origin Story

Between the Sheets is a classic cocktail that dates back to the 1930s, often attributed to the creative bartending of the era. It combines elements of a Daiquiri and a Sidecar, reflecting the era's penchant for innovative cocktails.
