Sidecar

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Cognac
  • 20 ml Triple sec
  • 20 ml Lemon juice
  • Garnish orange peel

Preparation

  1. Rim the coupe glass with sugar. Don't know how? Moisten the rim with a citrus wedge, then dip it in a plate of sugar.
  2. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  4. Garnish with orange peel. Use a peeler or knife to cut a wide strip, avoiding the white pith. Twist it over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.
