Ingredients
- 45 ml Citrus vodka
- 22.5 ml Triple sec
- 22.5 ml Lemon juice
- 15 ml Sugar syrup
- Garnish lemon twist
Preparation
- Rim the coupe with sugar. Don't know how? Moisten the rim with a citrus wedge, then dip it in a plate of sugar.
- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a coupe. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
- Garnish with lemon twist. Use a peeler or knife to cut a wide strip, avoiding the white pith. Twist it over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.
Origin Story
The Lemon Drop Martini emerged in the 1970s in San Francisco, where bartenders began experimenting with citrus flavors in cocktails. It quickly gained popularity for its refreshing taste and vibrant presentation.
