White Negroni

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Gin
  • 30 ml Lillet Blanc
  • 22.5 ml Gentiane liqueur e.g. Suze, Salers
  • Garnish Grapefruit peel

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  3. Garnish with grapefruit peel. Use a peeler or knife to cut a wide strip, avoiding the white pith. Twist it over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.

Origin Story

The White Negroni was created in the early 2000s by a bartender in London as a lighter alternative to the classic Negroni. It quickly gained traction for its unique twist on the traditional recipe.
