Rum Punch

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Dark rum
  • 60 ml Orange juice
  • 60 ml Pineapple juice
  • 15 ml Lime juice
  • 15 ml Grenadine
  • Garnish Orange slice, cherry

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a highball glass over ice. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  3. Garnish with orange slice, cherry.

Origin Story

Rum Punch has roots in the Caribbean, dating back to the 17th century when sailors and colonists mixed rum with various fruit juices. It became a popular party drink, often associated with tropical celebrations and gatherings.
