Ingredients

30 ml Dark rum
30 ml White rum
60 ml Passion fruit juice
30 ml Orange juice
15 ml Lime juice

Preparation

Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into a hurricane glass over ice. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
Garnish with orange slice, cherry.

The Hurricane cocktail was invented in the 1940s in New Orleans, Louisiana, at Pat O'Brien's bar. It was created to use up excess rum and quickly became a signature drink of the city's vibrant nightlife.
