Paper Plane (Mezcal)

Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml Mezcal
  • 22.5 ml Aperol
  • 22.5 ml Amaro Nonino
  • 22.5 ml Lime juice

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.

Origin Story

The Paper Plane cocktail was created in the early 2000s by bartender Sam Ross in New York City, initially using bourbon. The mezcal variation showcases the cocktail's adaptability and the growing appreciation for mezcal in contemporary mixology.
