Ingredients
- 45 ml Tennessee whiskey
- 22.5 ml Triple sec
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 90 ml Lemon-lime soda
- Garnish Lemon wedge
Preparation
- Shake whiskey, triple sec and lemon with ice.
- Strain into a highball glass over ice. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
- Top with soda.
- Garnish with lemon wedge. A wedge is a thick, lengthwise slice — usually a quarter or eighth of the fruit.
Origin Story
The Lynchburg Lemonade is named after Lynchburg, Tennessee, where Jack Daniel's whiskey is produced. It gained popularity in the 1980s, particularly as a refreshing summer cocktail.
