Ingredients
- 60 ml Mezcal
- 30 ml Grilled pineapple juice
- 22.5 ml Lime juice
- 15 ml Agave syrup
- 1 pinch Chili flakes
- Garnish Grilled pineapple wedge
Preparation
- Shake all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
- Garnish with grilled pineapple wedge. A wedge is a thick, lengthwise slice — usually a quarter or eighth of the fruit.
Origin Story
The Grilled Pineapple Mezcal cocktail is a modern creation that highlights the trend of incorporating grilled fruits into cocktails, gaining popularity in the 2010s. This drink reflects a broader movement towards smoky and sweet flavor combinations, particularly in mezcal-centric recipes.
