  • 60 ml Cognac
  • 22.5 ml Crème de menthe (white)
  • Garnish Mint leaf

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  3. Garnish with mint leaf.

Origin Story

The Stinger cocktail is believed to have originated in the early 20th century, often associated with the post-Prohibition era. Its simple combination of cognac and crème de menthe became a popular after-dinner drink.
