Naked Martini

Ingredients

  • 75 ml Gin
  • 1 barspoon Dry vermouth e.g. Noilly Prat, Dolin Dry
  • Garnish Olive

Preparation

  1. Rinse a chilled martini glass with vermouth.
  2. Stir gin with ice.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  4. Garnish with olive.

The Naked Martini emerged in the early 20th century, primarily in the United States, as a variation of the classic martini. It is characterized by its minimal use of vermouth, reflecting a trend towards drier cocktails.
