Hugo Spritz

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Elderflower liqueur e.g. St-Germain
  • 120 ml Prosecco
  • 30 ml Soda water
  • 10 ml Lime juice
  • Garnish Mint sprig, lime wheel

Preparation

  1. Build over ice in a wine glass.
  2. Add elderflower liqueur, lime, prosecco and soda.
  3. Stir gently.
  4. Garnish with mint sprig, lime wheel. A wheel is a thin, round cross-section slice of the whole fruit.

Origin Story

The Hugo Spritz was created in the Trentino region of Italy in the early 2000s, quickly gaining popularity for its light and floral flavor profile, particularly during summer months.
