Bloody Caesar

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Vodka
  • 120 ml Clamato juice
  • 10 ml Lime juice
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes Hot sauce
  • 1 pinch Celery salt
  • Garnish Celery stalk, lime wedge

Preparation

  1. Rim the highball with salt. Don't know how? Moisten the rim with a citrus wedge, then dip it in a plate of salt.
  2. Build all ingredients in a celery highball over ice and stir.
  3. Garnish with celery stalk, lime wedge. A wedge is a thick, lengthwise slice — usually a quarter or eighth of the fruit.

Origin Story

The Bloody Caesar was invented in 1969 in Calgary, Canada, by bartender Walter Chell as a twist on the Bloody Mary. It incorporates Clamato juice, giving it a unique flavor that has made it a Canadian favorite.
