Airmail

  • 30 ml Gold rum
  • 15 ml Lime juice
  • 15 ml Honey syrup
  • 60 ml Champagne

Preparation

  1. Shake rum, lime and honey with ice.
  2. Strain into a flute. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
  3. Top with champagne.

Origin Story

The Airmail cocktail is believed to have originated in the 1940s, possibly linked to the aviation boom post-World War II. It combines rum and champagne, symbolizing the excitement of air travel during that era.
