Ingredients
- 60 ml Bourbon e.g. Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve
- 15 ml Coffee liqueur e.g. Kahlúa, Mr. Black
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- Garnish Flamed orange peel
Preparation
- Stir all ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
- Flame an orange peel over the drink.
- Garnish with flamed orange peel. Use a peeler or knife to cut a wide strip, avoiding the white pith. Twist it over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.
