Ingredients
- 30 ml Bourbon
- 30 ml Gin
- 15 ml Rose's Lime Cordial
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 120 ml Ginger beer
Preparation
Shake spirits, lime and bitters with ice. Strain into a highball over ice and top with ginger beer.

The Suffering Bastard was created during World War II at the Shepherd's Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, as a remedy for hangovers among British soldiers. Its unique combination of spirits and ginger beer became a popular choice among travelers and expatriates.
